Imus Computer College (ICC), in cooperation with the Cavite Computer Society (CCS), held the SEEK Information Technology Conference 2018 (seek.IT 2018) last January 10, 2018 in various locations in Cavite & Las Pinas. The theme of seek.IT 2018 was " Transforming the Future".

One of the seminars was specially organized for computerized accounting majors. The seminar title was "Computerized Accounting System: Intro to GNU."

"GnuCash is a small-business financial accounting software, freely licensed under the GNU/GPL and is available for Linux, Mac OS and Microsoft Windows. GNU is a Unix-like operating system, developed in Jan 1984 under the auspices of the GNU project. The name "GNU" is a recursive acronym for "GNU's Not Unix ..... gnu.org"

ICC has integrated seminars/conferences such as seek.IT 2018 as part of its curriculum because seminars provide the latest information about the things happening in the world.

ICC Gov Drive Branch Coordinator Ms. Krystel Amon, who has a National Certificate Level 3 in Bookkeeping, was the seminar facilitator.
